Using Print Price Sheets

The Print Price Sheets option allows users to print the base price list for a selected base price, by sales reps, and by the customer price sheets assigned or by the customer mask Collapsed

A mask is used to conduct a wild card search. Visually a mask is represented by a series of forward slash marks (///), sometimes with a letter, letters, or number preceding it (1/////// or AB////). For example, if you enter AB//// this indicates that you want to list all customer defined in the system whose names begin with AB. used to create a price sheet. Price sheets are created in Price Sheet Setup. Selling prices are set for all items sold in Set Selling Prices and Price Exceptions. Base prices are assigned to customers by price class.

The price that prints on the price sheet is based on the base selling prices assigned to the price class for the customer that was entered in Set Selling Price plus or minus the price exceptions that apply to the customer.

1. When you first enter the Print Price Sheets option a Select A Sales Rep window will appear with the following options:

EXIT – Select EXIT to exit the Print Price Sheets option.

Select EXIT to return to the Sales menu.

BASE PRICE LIST – Select BASE PRICE LIST to print a price sheet for one of the base prices.

1. A Select A Base Price window will display Base Price Lists 1 through 8. Scroll to the base price to print and press Enter.

2. A Select An Option window will appear with the following options:

EXIT – Select EXIT to return to the Select A Sales Rep window.
EXTERNAL LIST – Select EXTERNAL LIST to print a list of base prices that would go to a customer as a generic list.
- Enter an item mask for the items to include on the base price list.
- A Select A Format window will display with the following options:
  - EXIT – Select EXIT to return to the Select A Sales Rep window.
  - 1 - ONE COLUMN FORMAT – Select ONE COLUMN FORMAT to print the base price list in one column, based on the item ID code.
  - 2 - ONE COLUMN BY ALIAS – Select ONE COLUMN BY ALIAS to print the base price list in one column, based on the item alias.
  Select the appropriate format and press Enter.
- Enter the desired information for the price list header.
- Enter the date for the price list. Press Enter when finished.
- Command options will appear allowing you to print or choose from a set of other print options. See below for print fields displayed
INTERNAL LIST – Select INTERNAL LIST to print an in-house list of base prices which can be used to quickly look up a selling price on a base price sheet.
- The following message will display: "Print Zero Prices? No/Yes."
  - Enter no to exclude zero priced items from the base price list.
  - Enter yes to include zero priced items on the base price list.
- The following message will display: "Print Lots? No/Yes."
  - Enter no to exclude lots from the base price list.
  - Enter yes to include lots on the base price list.
- Command options will appear allowing you to print or choose from a set of other print options. See below for print fields displayed.

If an external price list was selected, the following information will print, based on the Forms setting for the price list in Sales Options:

The price list header and date that was entered
Item – The item code
Description – The item name
Price Per Unit – The item base selling price per the invoicing unit of measure (UOM).
Pack Description – The default selling pack unit for the item for items priced by the EA ("each").

Note: If 1 - ONE COLUMN FORMAT was selected, the price list will print using the Net•Yield item code; if 2 - ONE COLUMN BY ALIAS was chosen, the price list will print by item alias.

If the internal list was selected, the following information will print on the report for the base price selected:

Grp – The item group
Item Description – The item name
Current Price – The current base price of the item
Date Changed – The date the base price was last changed
Last Price – The last base price entered
Current Cost – The current cost of the item
Cost 1 through 3 – The last three costs assigned to sales orders through Cost of Goods Sold.

If lots were chosen, the following will display below the item description:

Loc – The location ID for lotted items
Lot Number – The lot number for lotted items
Date – The date the lot was received or entered into the system
On-Hand – The current on-hand balance in the lot before commitments
Available – The lot balance after commitments
Un Cost – The cost per unit and unit ID, LB or EA
Item info lot attributes, based on the item info type and sort order assigned to the item and Inventory reports print setting for the item info type in Item Info.

CUSTOMER MASK – Select CUSTOMER MASK to print a price list by customer mask Collapsed

1. Once CUSTOMER MASK has been selected, a Customer Masks table will appear and display all price lists created in Price Sheet Setup, based on a customer mask Collapsed . Scroll to the customer mask whose price list needs to be printed and press Enter. An asterisk (*) will appear, confirming your selection. Press F10 to exit. Only one customer mask can be selected.

2. A Select An Option window will display a list of price classes defined in the system with the following options:

EXIT – Select EXIT to return to the Select A Sales Rep window.
ALL PRICE CLASSES – Select ALL PRICE CLASSES to include all price classes for the customer mask selected on the price sheet.
A list of price classes – Select one or more price classes to include on the price sheet.

Select one, several, or ALL PRICE CLASSES to include on the price sheet by scrolling to the price class(es) and pressing Enter. An asterisk (*) will appear, confirming your selection. Select EXIT to continue.

3. Command options will appear:

One List – Select One List to print one price list for the customer mask.
- A Select A Format window will display with the following options:
One List Per Masked Customer – Select One List Per Masked Customer to print one list for each customer that matches the customer mask selected.

A Select A Format window will display with the following options:

EXIT – Select EXIT to return to the Select A Sales Rep window.
1 - ONE COLUMN FORMAT – Select ONE COLUMN FORMAT to print the base price list in one column.
2 - ONE COLUMN BY ALIAS – Select ONE COLUMN BY ALIAS to print the base price list in one column, by item alias.

Scroll to the appropriate format and press Enter.

4. Enter the desired information for the price list header, including date. Press Enter when finished.

5. Command options will appear allowing you to print or choose from a set of other print options.

6. The following information will print on the price list for the specified customer mask based on the Forms setting for the price list in Sales Options:

The customer mask or customer name
The price list header information entered
The item code
The item description
The selling price and selling unit of measure (UOM)
Pack Description – The default selling pack unit for the item for items priced by the EA ("each").

Note: If 1- ONE COLUMN FORMAT was selected the price list will print using the Net•Yield item code; if 2 - ONE COLUMN BY ALIAS was chosen, the price list will print by item alias.

A list of sales reps – Select a sales rep to print the price sheet for the customers assigned to the sales rep.

1. A Price Sheets window will appear for the sales rep selected and will display the customer code and customer name. Scroll to the customer(s) to be included on the price sheet and press Enter. An asterisk (*) will appear confirming your selection. Press F9 to select all customers on the list. Press F10 when finished.

2. A Select a Format window will display with the following options:

EXIT – Select EXIT to return to the Select A Sales Rep window.
1 - ONE COLUMN FORMAT – Select ONE COLUMN FORMAT to print the base price list in one column.
2 - ONE COLUMN BY ALIAS – Select ONE COLUMN BY ALIAS to print the base price list in one column, by item alias.

Scroll to the appropriate format for the price sheet and press Enter.

3. Enter the desired information for the price sheet header, including date. Press Enter when finished.

4. Command options will appear allowing you to print or choose from a set of other print options.

The following information will print on the price list by sales rep based on the Forms setting for the price list in Sales Options:

The customer selected for the sales re/price sheet
The price list header and date that was entered
Item – The item code
Description – The item name
Price Per Unit – The item base selling price per the invoicing unit of measure (UOM)
Pack Description – The default selling pack unit fir the item for items priced by the EA ("each")

Note: If 1- ONE COLUMN FORMAT was selected the price list will print using the Net•Yield item code; if 2 - ONE COLUMN BY ALIAS was chosen, the price list will print by item alias.

Note: If there is a Fixed Price type Pricing Exception for an item for the customer, the item will appear on the Price List regardless of selecting it as a Base, Special or Customer item on the price Sheet.
